About The Position

As a Cable Technician for L.A. Hydro Jet & Rooter Services for the Mid-Shift in the South Bay Los Angeles area, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures of water and drainage sewage systems.

Requirements

• 2 years of service and repair plumbing experience REQUIRED (residential or commercial).
• Basic mechanical knowledge is needed.
• Available During Training on Wednesdays for instruction in the Sun Valley office.
• Available After Training on Wednesdays for check-in at the Sun Valley office.
• Is consistently at work and on time.

Responsibilities

• Clears blocked plumbing lines in commercial and residential buildings.
• Provide drain cleaning services for grease lines, urinals, difficult access lines, back-to-back lines, damaged lines, ejector pumps, and sump pumps.
• Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains.
• Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
• Repairs plumbing fixtures, such as sink pipes, commodes, and garbage disposal unit pop-up assemblies and waste and overflows.
