About The Position

J. Blanton Plumbing is hiring for its Plumbing Apprenticeship Program, an opportunity for people with hands-on plumbing experience to develop their skills and build a long-term career in the trade. The program offers a structured career progression with defined milestones and a path to higher earnings. Apprentices receive classroom training one day per week covering plumbing fundamentals, safety, and code compliance, and field training four days per week alongside experienced plumbers at job sites. The program also provides one-on-one mentorship, support obtaining an apprentice card, and career development. Compensation while learning is $22–$25 per hour.

Requirements

Hands-on plumbing experience; 6 months to 1 year is preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the day.
Reliable, energetic, motivated, team-oriented, and professional, with an interest in growing a plumbing career.

Nice To Haves

Ideally 6 months to 2 years of hands-on plumbing experience.
Passion for building a career in plumbing and eagerness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

Attend classroom training one day per week to learn plumbing fundamentals, safety, and code compliance.
