About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Plumbing Apprentice to join our growing team serving Mount Gilead, NC and surrounding communities. This role is ideal for individuals who want to quickly develop into a Plumbing Service Technician through hands-on field training, ride-alongs with experienced plumbers, and a fast-track advancement program based on performance, attitude, and skill progression. This is an excellent opportunity to enter a stable, high-demand trade with strong long-term earnings potential and a clear path to promotion. Our goal is to develop high-performing apprentices into Plumbing Service Technicians as quickly as possible based on readiness, not just time served. Requirements
- Strong desire to build a plumbing career quickly
- Good attitude, dependable attendance, and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in crawlspaces, attics, outdoors, and varying conditions
- Strong customer service mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical aptitude or prior construction/trade experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with plumbing repairs, service calls, and installations
- Learn to diagnose leaks, stoppages, water pressure issues, fixture failures, and drain concerns
- Support installation of water heaters, toilets, faucets, disposals, piping, and related systems
- Maintain tools, truck stock, and jobsite cleanliness
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers
- Learn pricing, service options, and customer education processes
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development
