About The Position

Central Plumbing is seeking a Service Plumber to diagnose, install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role involves independently troubleshooting plumbing issues, completing repairs efficiently, and providing professional customer service. The plumber responds to dispatches, answers customer questions, and prepares and presents repair quotes directly to customers.

Requirements

At least 3 years of plumbing experience.
Knowledge of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment, including pipe wrenches and pipe cutters.
Must provide own hand tools.
Strong communication, interpersonal, critical-thinking, and diagnostic skills.
Patient and friendly, with the ability to work effectively with a team.
Valid driver’s license and a clean Department of Motor Vehicles driving record.
Physical strength and stamina to work in awkward or confined spaces.
Ability to lift 80 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

Independently diagnose plumbing issues and complete repairs efficiently.
Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
Read blueprints and drawings to plan plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply system layouts.
Cut, assemble, and install plumbing lines while protecting existing infrastructure, including electrical wiring.
Install, maintain, and repair water supply systems; locate and repair leaks.
Repair or replace damaged drainage lines and clear clogged drains.
Repair plumbing fixtures and appliances, including faucets and water heaters.
Install waste disposal and sanitary systems.
Respond to dispatches, address customer questions, and provide professional service.
Prepare quotes and present them directly to customers.
