Requirements

Texas Apprentice Plumbing License, or ability to register with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE) — Midway Plumbing will assist with registration
Strong interest in the plumbing trade and a desire to grow with Midway Plumbing
Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in crawl spaces, attics, and tight areas
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
Good communication and customer service skills
Must be 18 years of age or older to apply

Responsibilities

Assist licensed plumbers with residential plumbing service calls, repairs, and installations
Support tasks such as diagnosing issues, replacing fixtures, water heater installs, drain cleaning, and leak repairs
Learn and follow company processes, safety protocols, and service standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools, equipment, and service vehicle
Protect customer property and leave every work area clean at the end of the call
Communicate professionally with customers and team members
Participate in ongoing training and development to progress toward full licensure
Follow all state and local plumbing codes and compliance requirements
Provide support during after-hours or weekend shifts as needed
