About The Position

This role involves providing outstanding customer service, diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in residential settings. The plumber will ensure all work is completed to code, company standards, and customer satisfaction, while also troubleshooting issues efficiently and recommending solutions. The position requires maintaining clean, organized, and safe job sites, mentoring apprentices, and following all safety procedures. Additionally, the plumber will maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles, collaborate with team members, and represent the company with professionalism. Vredevoogd Heating & Cooling, founded in 1964, specializes in residential HVAC & Plumbing needs and is committed to distinguishing itself as a leading contractor.

Requirements

Valid Journeyman Plumber license preferred (or readiness to test).
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with insurability through Vredevoogd’s insurance carrier.
Ability to pass initial and random drug screenings, as well as a comprehensive national background check.
Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, codes, and best practices.
Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift over 75 lbs, climb in and out of vehicles, and work in varying weather conditions.
Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Must live within 45 minutes of Grandville.
