About The Position

The Journeyman Plumber II position at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is responsible for the comprehensive maintenance and repair of plumbing systems across the medical, educational, and research facilities on the UAMS Campus. These systems are critical for ensuring the safety, comfort, and overall well-being of patients, students, and employees. The role also involves responding to and resolving all problems and emergencies that may arise from these plumbing systems and their associated equipment throughout the campus.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Five (5) years of plumbing experience
  • Journeyman Plumber license in accordance with ACA 17-38-301
  • Computer program proficiency level: Novice
  • Valid Driver’s License with fewer than 12 points on their Motor Vehicle Record

Nice To Haves

  • 6 years of plumbing experience
  • Master's plumbing license

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repair of plumbing systems that serve medical, educational, and research facilities on the UAMS Campus
  • Resolving all problems and or emergencies that arise from these systems and associated equipment on the UAMS Campus
