About The Position

We’re looking for a Plumber II, someone who’s ready to grow with our company. In this position, you will perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment, including plumbing and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes. Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environments. Think you’ve got what it takes? Offering a full spectrum of maternal and fetal medicine services, including an array of fetal diagnostic procedures and highly specialized fetal surgeries, the Pavilion for Women is connected to Texas Children’s Hospital via a two-story circular sky bridge to enhance patient care by providing physicians, staff and patient families with rapid access to other pediatric subspecialists. Three private OB/GYN practices, The Family Fertility Center, The Menopause Center and The Women’s Place – Center for Reproductive Psychiatry are all housed here. Requirements

Required High School Diploma or GED
Required JRNYPLUM - Journeyman's License Plumbing State of Texas or MASTPLUM - Master Plumber State of Texas
Required 5 years' experience as a plumbing service-related technician with preferred hospital experience and High-rise plumbing systems experience

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for plumbing and associated systems and equipment to ensure a safe environment and operational reliability according to standards established by the management team.
Performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs to facilities to provide a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Performs repairs to failed equipment according to established standards and within acceptable timeframes.
Provides notification of equipment shutdowns to appropriate leadership, departmental personnel, and Service Response Center Operators.
Maintains documentation to accurately record equipment problems and failures, including work order completeness.
Reports major failures and equipment malfunctions to Manager.
Assists with, oversees and/or inspects repairs or modifications performed by contractors.
Demonstrates ability to perform plumbing skill sets.
Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving maintenance duties for plumbing and associated systems and equipment according to standards established by management team.
