About The Position

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership, a subsidiary of Johnson Controls, is seeking a Plumbing Apprentice for its manufacturing facility in Nisku. This role involves assisting Journeyperson Plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repairs of plumbing and heating systems in a large manufacturing environment. The position offers a Monday to Thursday night shift schedule (6 PM - 5:30 AM). Silent-Aire is a technology-driven company specializing in hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions, supporting critical data centers globally. Requirements

Registered as a Plumbing Apprentice in Alberta and enrolled in a recognized trade school.
Ability to work under the supervision of Journeyperson plumbers, as part of a team, and independently in a busy environment.
Experience with hand and power tools.
Ability to work with PVC pipe.
Ability to braze/solder copper pipe.
Reliable transportation to commute to the Nisku facility.

Experience with routine electrical maintenance operations is an asset.

Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

Assist Journeyperson Plumber(s) in installation, maintenance, and repairs associated with plumbing and heating requirements.
Braze/solder copper pipe.
Work with PVC pipe.
Use hand and power tools.
Participate in proper clean-ups to ensure an efficient and safe work environment.
Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance, and repair techniques.
Perform all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code.
Other duties as required.
