About The Position
Kennedy Mechanical is looking to hire multiple Plumber Apprentices in Rochester, NY. This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday, day shift. The role includes on-the-job training with opportunities for long-term growth within the company. Candidates should have knowledge of basic hand tools, and no previous experience is necessary.
Requirements
- Basic hand tool knowledge
- Self-motivated
- Mechanically inclined
- Verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Assist commercial plumbers with installation of plumbing systems
- Work individually and as part of a crew
- Utilization of hand tools
- Assist with installation of components including, but not limited to fixtures, faucets, water heaters, pump systems and accessories, valves, sanitary, storm, water and gas piping systems
- Site clean-up as needed
