About The Position

This role is for an Apprentice Plumber who will provide exceptional customer service while communicating professionally and effectively. The apprentice will produce neat, organized, and high-quality work that meets company standards. They will support the plumbing team by assisting with installations, diagnostics, and repairs. The apprentice will learn and adhere to safety protocols, ensuring a secure work environment, and develop technical skills through hands-on experience and ongoing training. Additionally, they will maintain and organize tools, equipment, and materials on the job site, collaborate effectively with team members, and represent the company with a clean, professional appearance and positive attitude.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with insurability through Vredevoogd’s insurance carrier.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug screenings, as well as a comprehensive national background check.
• Strong dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to lift over 75 lbs, climb in and out of vehicles, and work in a variety of conditions, including Michigan’s changing weather.
• A proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
• Attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to working collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must live within 45 minutes of Grand Rapids.
