About The Position

Crawford Electric Supply is hiring a PLS Warehouse Associate to receive, verify, package, stage, load, unload, and store electrical products and materials. The role includes checking product quality, maintaining clean work areas, following standard operating procedures and OSHA safety standards, and operating powered industrial trucks (PIT). The warehouse is fast-paced and may involve varied hours, mandatory physical inventory, and work in hot, cold, or dusty conditions. Full-time associates are eligible for a range of benefits and development opportunities.

Requirements

• Two or more years of related experience and/or training.
• Reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Punctuality and excellent attendance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency operating powered industrial trucks, including reach trucks, order pickers, and sit-down propane forklifts.
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery and handling small parts.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and walk and stand for long periods.
• Ability to work mandatory physical inventory.
• Ability to work in extreme hot or cold environments and dusty conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Current powered industrial truck certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and package product for shipping, including shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling.
• Stage product for loading and load product onto trucks.
• Unload materials from trucks and move materials to the warehouse for storage.
• Move waste to dumpsters.
• Maintain quality control by ensuring damaged product is not sent out and damaged material is not accepted.
• Follow standard operating procedures, OSHA safety standards, and all processes.
• Operate powered industrial trucks, including stand-up trucks, reach trucks, order pickers, and sit-down propane forklifts.
• Complete daily logs for powered industrial trucks.
• Clean and maintain work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
