About The Position

Penn E&R is seeking a full-time Project Surveyor licensed in Pennsylvania (PLS). The role performs a wide range of surveying work across the company’s market sectors, with both office-based and field-based assignments. The work supports environmental remediation, civil engineering design, regulatory guidance, land restoration, and infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Survey.
• Professional Surveyor license (PLS) in Pennsylvania.
• 10 to 15 years of civil surveying experience.
• Experience with boundary retracements and subdivisions.
• Experience with topographic surveys.
• Experience with land development.

Nice To Haves

• Carlson Survey CAD experience.
• Carlson Survey data collection experience.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide deed plotting review and boundary solutions; review and stamp plans.
• Attend municipal meetings for submissions such as subdivision and planning applications.
• Perform field work and site visits for verification.
• Translate and transfer data and generate points for stakeouts.
• Learn and perform LiDAR/point-cloud data processing as needed.
• Use Carlson Survey CAD and standard drafting techniques and applications.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager on field crews and assist with proposal preparation.
