About The Position
R.J. Kielty Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electric, Inc. is hiring a residential new construction plumber in Florida. This is a W-2 employee position, not a 1099 subcontractor contract. The plumber will install plumbing systems in new homes, including underground plumbing, rough-ins, fixtures, water-supply systems, drain-waste-vent (DWV) piping, faucets, and water heaters. The role involves reading blueprints, following job specifications and applicable plumbing codes and safety requirements, meeting builder schedules, and keeping work areas clean and organized. The company provides a work vehicle and an assistant, along with employee benefits and company-provided insurance coverage. Weekly gross earning potential is $1,500–$2,500, depending on production and performance. The company has locations in Orlando, Brandon, and New Port Richey.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of residential new construction plumbing experience.
- Experience with underground installations, rough-ins, and fixture installations.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes and blueprint reading.
- Possess the required plumbing hand tools.
- Valid Florida driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- At least 21 years old due to company vehicle insurance requirements.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Dependable, productive, and committed to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities
- Install underground plumbing systems in new homes.
- Perform plumbing rough-ins in one- and two-story homes.
- Install bathtubs, shower bases, toilets, and other fixtures.
- Install water-supply systems, DWV piping, faucets, and water heaters.
- Read blueprints, follow job specifications, and meet builder schedules.
- Follow applicable plumbing codes and safety requirements, and maintain clean, organized job sites.
