About The Position

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Windchill Integration Engineer to design, build, and operate integrations connecting PTC Windchill with ERP, MES, CAD, and other engineering and manufacturing systems. The position owns the technical integration layer between Windchill and the broader enterprise systems landscape. The engineer will work with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into engineered solutions, and will contribute through code and design reviews and mentorship of other engineers. The role involves building and supporting integrations, improving performance and reliability, modernizing legacy integration patterns, and providing post-launch support. The position is full-time, direct W2, and 100% remote in the United States. The stated annual salary range is $100,000–$150,000.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Five or more years of PLM integration experience, with a strong focus on Windchill.
Hands-on experience with InfoEngine and the Windchill Java API.
Experience designing PLM-to-ERP integrations, including SAP or Oracle.
Working knowledge of CAD integration patterns.
Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, or SAP CPI.
Strong SQL skills and familiarity with the Windchill data model.
Experience with REST and SOAP web services.
Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

PTC Windchill certifications.
Experience with ThingWorx or IIoT integration.
Exposure to API management platforms.
Familiarity with event-driven and Kafka-based integration patterns.
Experience operating Windchill in the cloud.

Responsibilities

Design and develop integrations between Windchill and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and Oracle Cloud using InfoEngine, web services, and middleware platforms.
Build CAD integrations for Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Catia, and NX, including check-in/check-out workflows and metadata mapping.
Develop integrations between Windchill and MES, MOM, and quality systems.
Build REST and SOAP services for Windchill data using OData, InfoEngine, or custom Java services.
Implement message-based and event-driven integrations using middleware such as MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, and SAP CPI.
Design and operate error-handling, alerting, and resubmission patterns.
Profile and optimize high-volume integration performance using measurement and data-driven validation.
Lead migrations from legacy point-to-point integrations to middleware-mediated patterns, including phased cutovers, backward-compatibility shims, reversible steps, and monitoring.
Collaborate with PLM, ERP, and CAD functional teams to align integrations with business processes.
Develop integration documentation, message specifications, and runbooks.
Provide post-go-live and hypercare support; triage incidents, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.
Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers through reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
Evaluate emerging integration tools and patterns and recommend whether to adopt, pilot, or defer them.
