About The Position
The role develops and tests software modules based on client requirements and prepares project documentation, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery. It focuses on Teamcenter Reporting and Analytics (TcRA), an advanced business intelligence and reporting module for Siemens Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) that transforms product data into actionable insights, visual charts, and interactive dashboards. The role builds reports and portals, designs role-based dashboards, integrates TcRA with Teamcenter data models and databases, and tunes performance for large PLM datasets.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience.
- Experience with PLM-Teamcenter applications.
- Experience with Teamcenter Reporting and Analytics (TcRA).
Responsibilities
- Develop and test software modules based on client requirements.
- Prepare project documentation and coordinate with cross-functional teams to support quality delivery.
- Build custom and out-of-the-box reports using TcRA toolsets, including Report Builder and Charts.
- Create portals and install required features.
- Design role-based dashboards to track metrics such as change orders, item histories, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Connect TcRA with Teamcenter data models, BMIDE attributes, and underlying Oracle or SQL database architectures.
- Perform multithreading and SOA customization in TcRA.
- Optimize caching mechanisms and query performance for large-scale PLM datasets.
