Ford Motor Company•Dearborn, MI
•$132,800 - $250,800•Onsite

About The Position

Ford Motor Company is seeking a hands-on, highly technical people leader to lead 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) customization, development, and high-level escalation support. The manager will guide 3DX developers, platform engineers, and release engineers, while connecting Ford business and engineering stakeholders with hosting and infrastructure teams and Dassault Systèmes. The role requires broad knowledge of 3DX architecture—from 3DPassport and 3DSpace through 3DSearch and FCS to the database—and the ability to combine hands-on technical problem solving with clear communication to senior leadership. The manager will set engineering standards that support a stable, upgrade-ready platform and build trust across development, hosting, and business teams. The role owns 3DX customization and development, integrations, security configuration, engineering standards, and requirements intake. It is also the highest internal escalation point for critical and complex incidents across the 3DX suite. The manager leads diagnostics, vendor escalations, incident response, root-cause analysis, and shift-left improvements, while overseeing performance, upgrades, change management, and automation. As a people leader, the manager will develop a team of 3DX developers and escalation engineers, manage capacity and resource allocation, build knowledge across support teams, and provide technical leadership for audit compliance. The position is leadership level 6, with a salary range of $132,800–$250,800. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
