About The Position

Running Creek Casino is seeking a PART TIME Players Club Representative to work evenings. This role involves effectively communicating the features and benefits of the Running Creek Rewards Program and related promotions to potential customers. Responsibilities include maintaining customer information with high standards of data entry, issuing comps and promotional items, and selling gift shop and tobacco items. The position requires providing fast, friendly, and excellent service to customers at all times, adhering to casino policies and procedures, and promoting the casino in an enthusiastic and helpful manner. The role also involves assisting in the execution of events and promotions, and performing other assigned duties. The working environment includes office, gaming floor, and restaurant areas, with frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke, and extensive computer use. Flexibility with work schedule, including any hours and/or shifts as assigned, is necessary. The role may involve dealing with angry or hostile individuals and high-volume public contact.

Requirements

  • Possession of a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (G.E.D).
  • Ability to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Physical condition allowing prolonged period of standing and walking.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including Holidays and weekends.
  • Strong computer skills with experience in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets (ability to demonstrate proficiency).

  • Must be able to respond calmly and handle many customer demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist, balance, and work at a desk.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must have manual dexterity to be able to operate the following equipment: computer, telephone, photocopier, fax machine, embosser and printer.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.
  • Dependable transportation available.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year previous hospitality experience.
  • Knowledge of Casino and tribal gaming regulations and the ability to ensure compliance as appropriate within areas of responsibility.
  • Strong working knowledge of player tracking systems.
  • Previous high-volume customer service experience.
  • POS experience.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the Running Creek Casino’s policies and procedures.
  • Effectively communicate features and benefits of the Rewards Card Program and all related promotions to prospective gaming customers.
  • Solicit and document guest information for marketing research purposes.
  • Maintain database integrity by following high standards of data entry and issue rewards to customers based on their gaming.
  • Promote Running Creek Casino by interacting with customers in an enthusiastic, helpful and friendly manner.
  • Acknowledge, greet and converse with customers as they approach the Total Rewards center.
  • Assist in the execution of all events and promotions efficiently and effectively.
  • Offer to help in other Running Creek Rewards Club related duties at management request.
  • Adhere to the safety rules and regulations of the Running Creek Casino and of the Marketing department.
  • Sell Gift Shop and tobacco items and keep inventory of stock.
  • Perform all other job duties as assigned by supervisor.
