About The Position

The full-time Plating position supports plating needs for a large national account. The role involves product sourcing, ordering, receiving, shipping, packaging, customer service, and logistics, while coordinating with branch personnel and plating vendors. A flexible schedule may be available after onboarding and training and once performance goals are met.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a current, valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, including completion of any applicable graduated licensing program, and meet driving record requirements to use a company vehicle as needed.
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Be able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service oriented.
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
• Be able to lift, slide, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and sometimes up to 75 pounds.
• Be able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule.
• Demonstrate the company's core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
• Pass the required drug test (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam only).

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience operating a forklift.
• Knowledge of Fastenal's work order system.

Responsibilities
