About The Position

The Plating Technician works in Plant 4, Thermatech Operation, and is required to be available for off-shift work, including second shift, third shift, and weekend crew. The role inspects castings before and after plating, maintains plating and cleaning line baths, prepares new acid strip baths, and operates the CETCO wastewater treatment unit. The technician also submits maintenance work orders, checks calibration stickers, maintains a clean work area, and follows applicable EHS rules. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of work experience, or six months of continuous manufacturing experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification is required at hire. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Must be available to work off shift, including second shift, third shift, and weekend crew.

Nice To Haves

• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Inspect surface condition of castings before and after plating.
• Maintain plating and cleaning line baths.
• Mix new acid strip baths in the acid room.
• Operate the CETCO wastewater treatment unit.
• Submit maintenance work orders.
• Check calibration stickers to ensure they are up to date.
• Keep the work area clean.
• Comply with EHS rules required for the work environment.
• Perform other duties as required.
