Plating Technician

About The Position

Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for a Plating Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for loading machines using a forklift, determining the required cycle to run product, and setting up the process. After processing, you will use an overhead crane to remove baskets from spinners and dump them into shipping crates. You will perform tests using certified company test equipment, organize and record production paperwork to follow orders as product is completed, and handle customer product in an approved method to ensure a smooth flow to the next operation. You will strive to work well with co-workers as a team player, keep your work area clean, and perform any other tasks as assigned. Howmet Aerospace Inc. Requirements

  • High School or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Manufacturing: 1 year (Required)
  • Must be able to work on site in Elroy, WI
  • Lift 25 to 50 pounds
  • Be able to bend, stoop and climb
  • Be able to walk and stand on your feet for a full 12-hour shift
  • Use hand tools, measuring devices, overhead cranes, and forklifts
