HALO DiagnosticsIndian Wells, CA

About The Position

The mission of HALO Precision Diagnostics is to Save Lives with Early Detection. At HALO, we believe every patient is unique—and their healthcare should be too. We are redefining early detection through precision diagnostics, innovative technology, and patient-first operations. As our organization continues to scale, our technology platform must evolve alongside our clinical and operational teams. We are seeking a Platform Product Manager who will ensure our platform remains aligned with how our teams actually work, enabling operational excellence while supporting future growth. As HALO continues its transformation into a technology-first Precision Diagnostics-as-a-Service (PDaaS) organization, this role will help shape how technology drives business transformation, operational excellence, and long-term scalability across the enterprise. HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking an experienced Platform Product Manager to own the strategic direction, operational alignment, and continuous improvement of the HALO platform. Unlike traditional product management roles focused on launching new products, this position is responsible for maximizing the effectiveness of our existing platform across our clinical operations. The Platform Product Manager will serve as the primary bridge between Operations, Engineering, and Product Development, ensuring platform enhancements solve real-world operational challenges and support scalable workflows. This role requires someone who enjoys spending time with end users, understanding frontline workflows, translating business needs into technical requirements, prioritizing platform enhancements, and driving releases that create measurable operational value. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable observing Patient Navigators in the field, facilitating discussions with operational leaders, writing detailed product requirements, and partnering with software engineers to deliver high-quality platform improvements. Beyond understanding today's operational processes, this individual is expected to challenge existing ways of working, identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and modernize operations, and influence stakeholders toward technology-enabled solutions that create measurable long-term business value.

  • Experience creating user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
  • Strong understanding of Agile product development methodologies.
  • Experience working directly with software engineers and development teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments.

  • Experience balancing short-term operational priorities with long-term product strategy and platform evolution.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare technology, digital health, diagnostics, laboratory, or clinical operations experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own the lifecycle and roadmap of the HALO operational platform.
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog aligned with organizational goals.
  • Evaluate enhancement requests and prioritize work based on operational impact, scalability, and strategic value.
  • Ensure platform development aligns with business priorities rather than technical preferences alone.
  • Establish clear success metrics and continuously evaluate platform performance.
  • Define and communicate the long-term product vision and multi-quarter roadmap, balancing operational improvements with innovation, scalability, automation, and future business needs.
  • Ensure platform capabilities are designed for long-term maintainability, scalability, and cross-functional reuse as HALO continues to grow.
  • Build strong relationships with Patient Navigators, Account Operations Executives, clinical teams, and operational leadership.
  • Regularly visit partner sites to observe workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Develop a deep understanding of how the platform is used in day-to-day operations.
  • Identify pain points, bottlenecks, and workflow inefficiencies and translate them into actionable platform improvements.
  • Serve as the voice of Operations throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Challenge existing workflows instead of simply digitizing current processes, identifying opportunities for simplification, standardization, automation, and AI-driven operational improvements.
  • Facilitate product discovery workshops to uncover underlying business problems, validate assumptions, and align stakeholders around future-state solutions rather than current-state processes.
  • Build consensus across diverse operational and clinical stakeholders by effectively communicating product strategy, business value, and implementation trade-offs.
  • Translate operational needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and external development partners throughout design, development, testing, and release cycles.
  • Manage release planning and ensure platform updates are aligned with business readiness.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing and validate enhancements prior to deployment.
  • Monitor adoption and performance following releases and drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with Business Analysts, UX/UI Designers, Architects, QA, and Engineering teams to ensure solutions are intuitive, technically sound, and aligned with both business objectives and user experience.
  • Drive product decisions using operational metrics, user feedback, analytics, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and workflow automation opportunities that can improve operational efficiency and platform capabilities.
  • Design end-to-end platform capabilities with consideration for downstream impacts across clinical, laboratory, finance, patient navigation, and other operational functions.
  • Lead implementation of new pilots, workflows, and operational initiatives.
  • Ensure technology enables successful execution of new programs.
  • Gather user feedback during pilot deployments and rapidly incorporate lessons learned into future releases.
  • Partner with Operations and Training teams to ensure successful adoption of platform enhancements.
  • Develop documentation and training materials supporting new functionality.
  • Partner with operational leadership to develop change management strategies that drive successful adoption of new capabilities while minimizing disruption to frontline teams.
  • Measure adoption, operational efficiency, and business outcomes following deployments to ensure enhancements deliver intended value and continuously refine the platform based on measurable results.
