About The Position

Walmart seeks a distinguished Platform Product Manager to lead the development and execution of innovative product strategies within a complex technology environment. This role requires expertise in platform product management, data-driven decision making, and cloud-based distributed computing. The successful candidate will drive product roadmaps, collaborate across teams, and leverage advanced data architecture and analysis tools to deliver scalable solutions. We design and develop large-scale data processing capabilities that support Walmart-level analytics, enabling associates to make informed decisions and create customer value. Whether customers engage online via Walmart.com, through mobile applications, or in physical stores, our work ensures seamless data integration and insight delivery to drive business success.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in platform product management with a strong focus on product strategy and roadmap development.
  • Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions utilizing advanced data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies and distributed computing environments.
  • Experience designing and managing data architectures, including data warehouse solutions.
  • Proficiency with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow and big data processing frameworks like Apache Spark.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 11 years’ experience in product management.
  • 13 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 10 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
