About The Position

Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) is a large global asset management organization with a significant presence and assets under management. The role supports the National Accounts (NA) and Portfolio Specialist Consultants (PSC) teams to drive growth within the sales organization. This position requires effective communication and project management skills, focusing on pipeline management, platform onboarding efficiencies, and product launch infrastructure. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years’ relevant sales/marketing experience with an investment management organization or other financial services firm is preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office (particularly excel)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial and high degree of professionalism
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Support National Accounts and Portfolio Specialist Consultants (PSC) as an internal point person for pipeline and product launch management
  • Establish familiarity with internal systems to respond to client opportunities and requests
  • Support the coordination of responses to contracting and pipeline management by liaising with internal teams, and utilizing internal resources
  • Manage operational hurdles and escalations from key partners and platforms
  • Coordinate team meetings and prepare presentations, including those attended by sales representatives
  • Work closely with the Business Manager to prepare sales channel reporting, product performance analyses and weekly reports to NA/PSC, management and sales
  • Maintain team pipeline information in firm CRM systems and prepare client activity reports for senior management
  • Understand and maintain a working knowledge of firm platforms, firm initiatives, and investment trends
  • Establish excellent communication across functional areas of the firm— including investment teams, marketing, product, operations/client service, and legal/compliance teams—to ensure seamless execution of business requests
