AARP is the nation's largest nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to empowering people 50 and older to choose how they live as they age. Information Technology Services is responsible for AARP enterprise-wide technology and information security functions. The Platform Manager establishes the platform’s vision, strategy, outcomes, metrics, and alignment with business needs and AARP technology standards. They create and socialize the platform strategy and associated outcomes throughout the enterprise while ensuring the delivery of value in an agile environment. The Platform Manager prioritizes platform management activities and participate in the platform planning process. They review and contribute to sprint and iteration goals, objectives, and the platform roadmap. In collaboration with senior management, they develop and execute strategic technology initiatives that position the organization for success. They balance short-term team achievements with long-term goals and foster a sense of ownership and accountability within the team.
