About The Position

As a Platform Engineer - Client Solutions, you will split your time between helping clients build modern cloud platforms and partnering with the Sales team to design technical solutions for prospective customers. Approximately 50% of your time will be billable, working directly with clients on platform engineering engagements. The remaining time will focus on supporting go-to-market efforts by leading technical discovery, solution design, scoping projects, and helping customers understand how Tensure can solve their infrastructure challenges. You will serve as the technical expert during the sales process while remaining hands-on enough to stay current with modern cloud technologies and delivery best practices.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years building cloud infrastructure and platform engineering solutions
  • Strong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Deep Kubernetes experience
  • Terraform (or equivalent Infrastructure as Code)
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Containers and orchestration
  • Observability and monitoring platforms
  • Experience working in consulting or customer-facing technical roles
  • Comfortable presenting technical concepts to both engineers and executives
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure and platform engineering solutions
  • Build Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools
  • Design Kubernetes-based platforms
  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines
  • Improve developer experience through modern platform engineering practices
  • Work directly with client engineering teams to deliver successful engagements
  • Partner with Sales during technical discovery calls
  • Lead architecture and solution design discussions
  • Translate customer challenges into practical technical solutions
  • Develop Statements of Work and project estimates
  • Present technical solutions to engineering leaders and executive stakeholders
  • Serve as the technical expert throughout the sales cycle
