About The Position

This position is responsible for inspecting parts before, during, and after processing. The Plater will competently operate all necessary machinery and instruments safely, including performing routine maintenance. Fork truck training is available for designated employees. The role requires maintaining a clean and safe work environment, locating and understanding relevant Quality system documentation in the Valence computer system, and following Valence procedures for filling out routers, correcting input mistakes, and notifying supervisors of any router-related issues. The Plater will competently process parts with minimal supervision and practice behaviors that prevent damage to parts.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read process traveler and fill out completed operations
Ability to perform simple cleaning operations
Ability to assist as a helper to trained operators
Able to follow verbal and written direction.
Able to use basic hand tools such as wrenches and clamps
Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Able to work under direct supervision.

Practice behavior which avoids damage to parts and protects the part from damage.
