About The Position

This is a weekend shift position focused on the inspection of parts before, during, and after processing. The role requires the ability to competently operate all necessary machinery and instruments safely, including performing routine maintenance. Fork truck training is available for designated employees. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is essential. The position involves locating and understanding relevant Quality system documentation within the Valence computer system, as well as understanding and performing steps defined in the Valence ROUTER. This includes following Valence procedures for correctly filling out routers, correcting input mistakes, and notifying a superior of any router-related problems. The role requires the ability to process parts competently with minimal supervision and to practice behaviors that prevent damage to parts.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read process traveler and fill out completed operations
Ability to perform simple cleaning operations
Ability to assist as a helper to trained operators
Able to follow verbal and written direction.
Able to use basic hand tools such as wrenches and clamps
Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Able to work under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

Weekend Shift Inspection of the part before, during, and after processing
Competently Operate all machinery and instruments necessary to safely perform the job function, including routine maintenance.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Understand, and perform steps defined in the Valence ROUTER, follow Valence procedures on correctly filling out routers, corrections of input mistakes and notification of superior for all other router related problems.
Competently process parts with little or no supervision.
Practice behavior which avoids damage to parts and protects the part from damage.
