About The Position

This position is responsible for inspecting parts before, during, and after processing. The role requires the ability to competently operate all necessary machinery and instruments safely, including performing routine maintenance. Fork truck training is available for designated employees. A clean and safe work environment must be maintained. The employee will need to locate and understand relevant Quality system documentation within the Valence computer system and follow Valence procedures for processing parts, including correctly filling out routers, making corrections, and notifying supervisors of any issues. The plater must be able to process parts with minimal supervision and practice behaviors that prevent damage to parts.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read process traveler and fill out completed operations
Ability to perform simple cleaning operations
Ability to assist as a helper to trained operators
Able to follow verbal and written direction
Able to use basic hand tools such as wrenches and clamps
Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs
Able to work under direct supervision
