About The Position
2nd shift opportunity: 3:45 PM – 11:45 PM. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity based on attendance, performance, and business needs, offering the chance to gain hands-on quality experience in a manufacturing environment within a team-oriented and supportive setting.
Requirements
- Ability to use basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Comfortable reading blueprints and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous quality inspection in the Plastics industry preferred
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using basic measurement tools
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Document inspection results and report non-conforming materials
- Work closely with production teams to address quality concerns
- Maintain accurate records and follow quality procedures
- Ensure work area remains clean, organized, and safe
