Requirements

• Experience in a plastic-related field or a strong mechanical background is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and process issues.
• Computer knowledgeable.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to one hundred pounds.
• Ability to pull preforms off core rods using a brass tool in a timely manner.
• Must pass a ninety-day trial period.
• Must complete all required Alphapointe employee classes.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in machine startups and operate machines independently.
• Troubleshoot problems and communicate issues to the supervisor or maintenance.
• Clean and polish molds and core rods.
• Assume supervisor's duties in their absence.
• Understand and perform all necessary quality control tests on bottles.
• Train others on box printing, bottle packaging, and palletizing procedures.
