About The Position
We are seeking an individual to join our outstanding R&D team in our state-of-the-art Plastics Laboratory. This is a first shift position working Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. In this role, you will be trained to perform a variety of laboratory sample preparation functions and develop hands-on skills supporting our plastics research and development work.
Requirements
- High school equivalency or relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Work safely at all times and follow applicable ISO 9001 guidelines.
- Learn and follow Oracle, raw material, and laboratory workflows.
- Learn to operate sample preparation equipment with training, including extruders, roll mills, chippers, pulverizers, and premixing equipment.
- Develop basic color-correction skills through training with quality control equipment and spectrophotometers.
- Communicate effectively with multiple team members, follow directions, and apply basic math skills.
- Work collaboratively with the team while managing multiple tasks.
