Process Technician – Plastics Manufacturing
About The Position
Flexcraft is hiring experienced Process Technicians to operate and support plastics manufacturing equipment in a stable, structured production environment. The role works with injection molding and blow molding machines, auxiliary equipment, quality measurement, and process control. Technicians perform mold changes, machine startups, process adjustments, and troubleshooting while helping maintain efficient production, product quality, and clean, organized work areas. They also support and mentor less experienced team members. The position offers $30–$40 per hour based on experience and a 2-2-3 schedule; night shifts receive a $3-per-hour differential.
Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing; plastics experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to perform setups, adjustments, and troubleshooting independently.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a safety-focused approach.
- Takes ownership of machines and production output.
Responsibilities
- Monitor machines and keep production running efficiently.
- Perform mold changes, startups, and process adjustments.
- Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, and process issues.
- Identify problems early and correct them before they escalate.
- Work with Quality to verify product specifications.
- Complete documentation and maintain clean, organized work areas.
- Support and mentor less experienced team members.
