Plastic Reconstructive Surgery Team, NP/PA
About The Position
ChristianaCare is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to join their innovative reconstructive plastic surgery practice. This NP/PA will focus on operating room responsibilities as First Assist, including breast reconstruction surgery and microsurgical flap procedures (head and neck, trunk, extremity). Clinic duties will be performed on other days. The candidate will assist the surgeon in patient care, including direct medical management through approved protocols and procedures, with evolving independence under the surgeon's guidance. This position also includes on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician’s Assistant program or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program
- Delaware licensure or license eligible as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- RNFA required for NP candidates
- ACLS required

- Experience working under loupes/surgical microscope
