Plastic Reconstructive Surgery Team, NP/PA
About The Position
ChristianaCare is looking for an NP/PA to join their Plastic Reconstructive Surgery team. The selected candidate will focus on operating room responsibilities as First Assist, including breast reconstruction surgery and microsurgical flap procedures (head and neck, trunk, extremity), with clinic duties on other days. The candidate will assist the surgeon in patient care, including direct medical management through approved protocols and procedures, and will develop increasing independence under the guidance of the plastic surgeon. This position requires on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician’s Assistant program or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program
- Delaware licensure or license eligible as a Physician Assistant or as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- RNFA required for NP candidates
- ACLS required
