About The Position
Our Blood Institute is seeking a Plasma Ops Component Technician to manufacture and successfully ship blood and blood components. The role involves selecting, verifying, labeling, and converting salvage blood and blood components, as well as maintaining equipment and the cleanliness of the manufacturing lab. The position is based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and follows a Monday-through-Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay is competitive based on education and/or experience, with a $500 bonus at six months and a $1,000 bonus at one year.
Requirements
- High school diploma, transcript, or GED.
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work well with people.
- Reliable transportation and a working telephone.
- Punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly; some moderate lifting is required.
