Brigham Young University (BYU) is seeking a Professorial Faculty member for the Plant & Wildlife Sciences department, specializing in Wildlife and Wildlands Conservation (WWC). This position is part of the College of Family, Home, and Social Sciences (CFS). The successful candidate will be expected to teach 3-4 courses per year, including mentoring courses, and lead an externally funded research program that prioritizes mentoring graduate and undergraduate students. The role involves active participation in departmental, college, and university governance, as well as contributing to the intellectual and community life of the university. Candidates are encouraged to demonstrate their teaching interests, experience, and vision, and how these can strengthen the BYU WWC program. A strong record of publishing in quality, peer-reviewed scientific journals and a clear vision for obtaining research funding are required. The position requires relocation to Utah.
