About The Position
This position is accountable for applying systems and process knowledge in material set up, process improvement, practice optimization, and problem-solving. The principal challenge of this position is to ensure that materials are set up correctly and no nonconforming product is produced because of a set up issue. This position is also responsible for auditing and providing feedback on nonconformities in our Quality system.
Requirements
- 5 years experience in Manufacturing and Quality systems
- Ability to function in a Team environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and prioritize multiple tasks
- Willingness to learn about our process flow and products
- Attention to detail
- Effective interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- SAP experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Set up Material Masters and maintain product set up sheets.
- Work with Product Metallurgists and Process Engineers to ensure our product specifications and tolerances are current.
- Manage the DMRs and customer credit reporting.
- Manage the return area.
- Plant wide auditing of quality procedures.
