About The Position

National Beef is seeking a 3rd Shift Sanitation General Laborer for their North Baltimore, Ohio facility. This entry-level position is crucial for ensuring the plant is clean and ready for production on the 1st and 2nd shifts. The role involves detailed cleaning of equipment and plant areas, including scrubbing, foaming, sanitizing, and reassembling machinery. The ideal candidate is passionate about maintaining a clean environment, has a keen eye for detail, and is ready to handle potentially messy work. This is a safety-sensitive, on-site position.

Requirements

• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning.
• Ability to walk, bend, push, pull, and lift repetitively during working hours.
• Skill to work at different levels, unafraid of open walkways.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team.
• Excellent attendance is a must.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• Unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.

Responsibilities

• Use high-pressure hoses to foam and sanitize equipment and plant areas.
• Disassemble machines and wash them down.
• Tackle heavy cleaning jobs on multiple levels as requested.
• Ensure equipment is assembled and floors are released to production on time.
• Notify supervisors of any required repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
