Sensient Technologies is seeking a Plant Sanitarian in Livingston, CA. This position requires on-site presence and the flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime with short notice.

Requirements

Hands-on experience to work with hazardous chemicals
Experience in documenting completion of tasks per respective master sanitation schedule
Ability to climb stairs and ladders as well as work in places up to 30' high
Ability to lift 50 lbs., work in tight, wet, hot, humid and confined spaces
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment using various hand and power tools
A flexible mindset with the willingness to work different shifts or extended hours
The Capacity to perform Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures, drive a forklift, Genie Boom and scissor lift
Skills to operate a power washer and floor scrubber
Ability to twist and bend down to reach under and between equipment
Authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on sanitation tasks including the cleaning of equipment and other areas of the facility
Identify and communicate process issues or risks to help improve operations
Follow standardized work instructions while maintaining quality and safety standards
Support and contribute to cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the work area
Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities with leadership
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve systems and procedures
Adapt to various shifts and respond to overtime requests when needed and perform other duties as assigned
