About The Position

As part of our Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our plant equipment and systems. This position involves overseeing the preventative maintenance program, managing maintenance schedules, and leading key maintenance initiatives to ensure optimal plant performance. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree for an accredited four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and 5+ years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership is required.
  • Proven experience in a plant maintenance or reliability role, with a strong understanding of equipment and systems.
  • Experience in managing maintenance programs, schedules, and budgets.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with performance metrics and KPI analysis.
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory abilities, with experience in managing a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the reliability and performance of all plant equipment and systems.
  • Oversee and manage the preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
  • Manage the scheduling of maintenance employees and oversee plant maintenance schedulers/planners.
  • Supervise the parts storeroom, ensuring adequate inventory and timely availability of parts.
  • Develop and implement maintenance training programs for staff to enhance skills and efficiency.
  • Manage the maintenance department budget, ensuring cost-effective practices and resource allocation.
  • Lead and oversee large maintenance and repair projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and analyze department KPIs such as downtime, parts usage, and mean time between failures (MTBF) to drive continuous improvement.
