About The Position

The position will be split between leading Quality Management System (QMS) compliance and Launch Readiness activities. The ideal candidate would have a strong knowledge of quality and project management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing or related field
3+ years minimum experience in Quality Management Systems within Automotive industry or manufacturing industries
Strong Project Management and Launch Readiness Experience
Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements
Prior experience leading IATF certification process
Proficiency in quality tools including FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, and Control Plans
Ability to work in teams and multi-tasking capabilities
Ability to drive sense of urgency and influence across the organization

Nice To Haves

Certified Internal Auditor or Lead auditor (ISO9001/IATF16949) preferred

Responsibilities

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for QMS topics, standards, certifications, and customer-specific requirements.
Manage QMS compliance, audits, and continuous improvement activities in alignment with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
Act as lead internal auditor and coordinate internal, external, process, and system audits.
Lead cross-functional teams in audit preparation, execution, and corrective action problem solving.
Manage document control, calibration support, and quality system orientation training.
Manage plant program/project industrialization, engineering changes, and special customer or project builds.
Identify, manage, and escalate Operations Launch Management deliverables, checkpoints, APQP gate reviews, and milestones.
Lead plant core team coordination to reduce launch delays and ensure timely completion of launch deliverables.
