About The Position
We are currently searching for an Plant Quality Control Lab Technician to join our Baton Rouge Plant talented team of employees! Quality control technicians are responsible for testing materials and finished products to ensure they conform to all applicable laws and company standards.
Requirements
- Experience in devising and reviewing plans, documents, and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Sets up, adjusts, and operates lab equipment and instruments
- Tests samples of products for conformity and standards
- Visually inspects for quality control
- Prepares and submits QC reports
- Performs general housekeeping and maintenance tasks to ensure clean and safe lab and warehouse
- Assesses daily job tasks for potential quality and safety concerns
- Communicates deficiencies with the plant manager and crew and works towards a solution
- Participate in TAR meetings
