About The Position

The Project Engineer is responsible for providing technical leadership by identifying, developing, and executing capital projects for the factory. This position will maintain visibility to the design process and assure adherence to Campbells standards and project deliverables while directly managing overall project execution. Additionally, this position will coordinate with maintenance, operations, quality, and safety groups inside and outside the organization.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience as a project manager in a manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • PMP certification
  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black belt
  • Relevant experience in food manufacturing, operations or process improvements (Lean, Six Sigma)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, quality, and safety teams to align projects with the plant needs.
  • Develop and execute CAPEX projects from $25k to $1,000k+.
  • Develop project scopes, detailed engineering designs/layouts, and specifications.
  • Direct and execute design, installation, construction, and commissioning of projects to ensure a seamless transition to operations.
  • Manage and control budgets, provide cost forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Provide technical and troubleshooting support for operations and maintenance.
