About The Position

P&G is seeking two Electrical Project Engineers to join their Site Engineering team at the Auburn Plant. This role focuses on capital projects related to facilities, construction, utilities, and overall site initiatives. The current priority is the delivery of two new warehouses incorporating supply chain 4.0 technologies to enhance manufacturing and inventory excellence. The position is on-site, Monday through Friday. Successful candidates will manage and execute project activities within the warehouse construction scope, which may involve a portfolio of smaller projects or full ownership of a larger project. Project budgets range from $500K to $10 million. This role offers significant engagement, visibility, and ownership, leveraging project management and technical expertise to achieve exceptional results for the site and the company. Key areas of focus include site facilities and warehouse automation, facility expansion and upgrades, warehouse construction and logistics automation (AGV expansion, automated racking systems, material handling/movement initiatives), driving cost savings and sustainability for site utilities, and capital procurement.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, an electrically related technical degree, or relevant electrical experience (including military service).
  • 0-5 years of relevant project engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated technical mastery.
  • Strong project management, budget, leadership & multi-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior manufacturing industry experience.
  • Demonstrated project management portfolio.
  • Project manager certifications like CAPM, PMP, etc.
  • Local to Maine.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver projects as a mid-level individual contributor.
  • Manage strategic projects across site, region, and business unit stakeholders.
  • Create front-end technical base plans.
  • Work with a central project delivery team based in Cincinnati.
  • Prepare project timelines inclusive of key project milestones, providing transparency to the project team(s) and communicating with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage risks and define resolution strategies while creating clarity in ambiguous situations.
  • Develop new processes and routines for increased visibility and accountability.
  • Report on project progress and communicate relevant information to manager & leadership.
