About The Position
Serves as a member of the front-line production team and performs various tasks that support production at a high-capacity commercial laundry plant. Work may include commercial ironing, hand folding, packing, and distributing laundry products to meet customer needs. The position pays $11.00 per hour, with weekly pay. Operations run seven days a week, and employees are scheduled to work five days and have two days off. The stated operating hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM for an eight-hour shift.
Responsibilities
- Maintain production standards as determined per hour.
- Hand fold laundry and work as an ironer feeder.
- Notify a supervisor when frequent technical problems are affecting the ability to meet production standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
