About The Position

EVCO Plastics is hiring an onsite Plant Process Engineer for its Calhoun facility. The role focuses on improving production efficiency and product quality through process optimization, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position combines hands-on manufacturing-floor work with analytical tasks and project leadership in plastics injection molding. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday, with hours varying according to project needs and operational demands.

Requirements

At least 6 years of experience in injection molding processing.
At least 6 years of experience in plastics injection molding.
Familiarity with CAD software and process simulation tools.
Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Ability to adapt and innovate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Plastic injection molding experience is required.

Responsibilities

Review production schedules and identify immediate process challenges.
Conduct root cause analyses of production issues and work with production teams to implement solutions.
Assess the production floor and gather real-time data for continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and share insights.
Communicate and collaborate with other departments to improve efficiency and product quality.
Lead projects and drive process improvements in manufacturing.
