About The Position

Nugent Sand is seeking a full-time Plant Operator for either the 2nd shift (2 p.m. to 10 p.m.) or 3rd shift (10 p.m. to 6 a.m.). The role helps transform raw sand into finished products by operating equipment, monitoring production processes, performing quality inspections, and helping ensure the facility runs safely and efficiently. It is a hands-on position for a reliable, energetic team player who enjoys working with industrial or heavy equipment and is committed to quality.

Nugent Sand has produced industrial lake sand in Muskegon since 1912. The company dredges sand from its lake, then washes, dries, screens, and blends it into specialized products for customers throughout the country.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
