About The Position

Phoenix Global is seeking energetic individuals to join its team and help address day-to-day issues while contributing to the broader success of the business. The role involves installing, assembling, operating, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, along with recording inspection findings and operating temperatures. The position is full-time and performed in person. Shifts are 10–12 hours.

Requirements

Valid driver's license is queried in the posting; no explicit requirement is stated.
Ability to read and accurately interpret project plans, blueprints, written instructions, and diagrams.
Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, speed squares, and framing squares.
Ability to move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
Ability to assemble and install equipment and machinery using hand and power tools.
Ability to align motors and equipment using tools and methods including feeler gauges, squares, rulers, micrometers, plumb bobs, dial indicators, and laser alignment.
Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.

Nice To Haves

Previous millwright experience in an industrial setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, align, and adjust mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components using manual, pneumatic, and electrical tools.
Perform on-site drilling, tapping, threading, welding, and other tasks as required by the Maintenance Manager.
Use lifting and manual-handling tools as needed.
Assemble machines and secure them with bolts, welds, rivets, or other fastenings using hand and power tools.
Operate a lathe to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications.
Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance inspections on equipment while operating.
Document findings and record temperature readings during equipment operation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
