About The Position

This posting is located in the Richmond Lubricants Plant Packaging Department. The role involves operating within Chevron Safe Work Practices and ensuring contractor safety. It also requires a strong commitment to safety and active participation in OE (Operational Excellence) programs. This position requires driving on a routine basis. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years prior operations experience.
Valid CA driver’s license and forklift operation experience.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in packaging or warehousing operations.
Associates or higher degree (or equivalent).
Higher technical or secondary technical education.

Responsibilities

Safely and reliably transfer bulk lubricant products.
Execute filling orders using manual and automatic controls on multiple filling lines.
Ensure packaged product quality and traceability.
Responsible for line sampling, reject system verification, weight checks, and printer operation.
Manually or mechanically move incoming package components and outgoing packaged products.
Inspect and manage incoming packaging components for stock accuracy and component quality.
Performs administrative duties as necessary including stock, repackaging, and damage goods counting and reporting.
Works cooperatively with others as a team player.
Complete all Company and Regulatory training including computer base training.
Responsible for filling line housekeeping and equipment checks on a daily basis.
Performs other such work as requested by the Lead and Head Packaging Operator.
